An Evening With Your Love

I love LOVE and French Cuisine :)

It was our first Valentine's Day together, we decided to spend it at our favorite local restaurant
Jean-Robert's Table. There was a Valentine's Day tasting menu, of course we indulged. 

We were also celebrating our 9 month anniversary. We celebrated our 6 month anniversary at Jean-Robert's Table as well. It's our place!

We began the night at the Cincinnatian Cricket Lounge for champagne before dinner. We had drinks here once in the summer when we first started dating so it was fun to go back.

When we got to the restaurant our table wasn't quite ready so we got a glass of wine while we waited

We were finally seated and only had two choices to make, which entree we would like and would we include the wine pairings. I love a pre fixe menu. 

We made our decisions - Rob went with the Beef Tenderloin and I chose the Rack of Lamb. Of course we also included the wine pairings.

& so it began...everything was decadent and amazing. Not a single dish we didn't love.

 1st Course
 Marinated Salmon, Creme Fraiche with Kentucky Caviar, Lemon Dressing, Quail Egg, Radish, Cucumber, and Beet Salad

2nd Course
Maine Lobster Salad, With Pomegranate Mango and Avocado Red Cabbage and Celery Root Remoulade

3rd Course
Pan Seared Foie Gras, With Dried Cherry Compote, Riesling Sauce and Pink Peppercorn, Tart of Duck Confit with Pear and Red Onion

4th Course
Boston Sole, Pinot Noir Light Truffle Sauce, Shiitake Mushroom, Wilted Rapini, French Lentil and Roasted Cauliflower

Entree's

Beef Tenderloin, Bordelaise Sauce, Roasted Shallots and Asparagus, Dauphinois Potatoes, Oyster Mushrooms, Fondue of Snow Peas, Glazed Carrots

Rack of Lamb, Tarragon Syrah Wine Sauce, Fingerling Potatoes, Goat Cheese Flan, Confit Tomatoes, Medlet of Mushrooms and Creamy Spinach

We were then served an assortment of desserts

We left stuffed and happy..it was a great Valentine's Day/Anniversary dinner - thank you honey!
